Featured Image above the content on single post

Is there featured appearing on single post page?

It was not appearing. it was just showing in the home page as thumnail.so basically added this code

if ( has_post_thumbnail() ) { // check if the post has a Post Thumbnail assigned to it.
the_post_thumbnail();
}
?>

and its working now,.
