Featured Image

  • Is there a way to add the featured image option to the download content pages? That way if using the standard WordPress archive query the image will show.

    The same featured image box you see on posts and pages. It’s missing on the download creation page. At least a php code that I may add to the functions.php file.

    This plugin uses the “File Thumbnail” field for specifying an image. The featured image feature that you referred to can have different behavior on different themes.

    I will add this to our wishlist so we can look at it in the future.

    Okay thanks but then what’s the hook I should use to retrieve the url of the image that’s used in the plugin if it has one?

    Something like get_the_post_thumbnail_url or similar.
