Featured Image?

    Theme Twenty Fifteen demo page looks just great. However, I am unable to locate how to install what keeps being called a “Featured Image”. I can find no reference to a Featured Image in documentation or in any of the Settings for the theme. How do you set-up / install a “Featured Image”?

    How do you get the image above the Front Page text?

    I have submitted numerous inquiries, over a few months, about how to do what the WordPress Template samples show. I have not received one response from any of them, that actually answered the question submitted. Most replies just quoted some obscure documentation (most of which is obsolete documentation for obsolete WordPress versions), which had nothing to do with the question. Most do not even bother to reply. It appears that most WordPress developers have adopted the “Apple” policy of “It’s self-explanatory and needs no documentation or instruction.” So, I have moved on and am using HTML5, PHP, JS and CSS. I find nothing in WordPress useful for what I need to do. Not everything is a Blog or Store Front.

    May you have better luck with WordPress.
