    You can do that real quick in your CSS by adding:

    .easy-photo-album .loop-thumb {
    display: none;
}

    If you want do block the output of the image, you will have to edit your theme (maybe the developer of your theme can help).

    About that featured image: currently there is no way to set the featured image for a photo album. I think I will add it in a feature release. (#2107)
