    Hello, again,

    I’m taking you up on your offer for more assistance ~wink!

    When I first activated the Featured Group Widget, the User Group Page’s featured image showed up in the widget. I changed the featured image, but the widget did not change. So, (1) I deleted the original image and got the blue, placeholder image and (2) I deleted the page’s featured image and re-applied it, but the blue, placeholder image remains in the widget. I do not see any options for the widget’s image anywhere.

    I also uninstalled the plugin; purged the cache; optimized the database; and the problem persists. I cannot change the widget’s image.

    Thoughts?

    Hello @gpworx,

    ProfileGrid featured group widget displays the group icon in widget, not the featured image of group page. Please change group icon and then check. You may change the group icon by referring to the following steps:

    1) Login to the WordPress dashboard and go to the ProfileGrid menu.

    2) All Groups will be listed here , then go to the group options for a group.

    3) Here right menu, go to “Basics” and change the image using the option “Group Icon/ Badge” and save it.

    Thank you so much! THAT was the first thing I checked and — ready for this? — the setting reverted somehow…

    Other weird issues arose (user passwords were reset; page redirects not working) and I removed a popular cache plugin and reset the security plugin; re-uploaded the Group Icon; and now that problem is solved. Thank you, we thought we were going a little loco and wondered if we couldn’t follow simple instructions!

    I placed the above info here in case others encounter some weirdness and can try troubleshooting before creating a support ticket for things that should work as designed.
