Featured Content Gallery — images not showing up?

As far as I can tell, I’ve followed the Featured Content Gallery’s instructions (and video) to a T, but it’s still not loading correctly on my homepage. There is a blank box with a bar that looks like it’s trying to load the images, then when I click on the arrows the featured text pops up — but still no photos. (See https://www.AsHerWorldTurns.com) I have set the articleimg and featured text for each post. It’s set to display the 3 most recent posts in the category. How can I get the images to load? And shouldn’t it come up on its own, without me clicking on the arrows? I have tried deactivating other plug-ins in case there is a conflict, but the Featured Content Gallery still won’t work. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
