“Featured block” instead “featured image”

Hello!
I don’t know where the improvements are going, but I would have a suggestion. Couldn’t “featured block” be used instead of “featured image” in single posts? Because I don’t want to use an image (photo or graphic), I want to use an image made from text. Because of the thumbnail, this is important, for example, for a blog. In this case, I have to make a picture of the text first. This requires a Canva (or something similar) subscription which is expensive. And I have to quit, I have to make it, I have to download it, then I have to upload it. And this is completely unnecessary. Because I could do the same thing practically in Gutenberg. Much easier and cheaper and faster and in the same quality. Thanks.
