Featured Areas not working since move to Customizer

    Loving the theme, however when the move from Theme Options to Customizer came in and I tried to edit the Featured Areas, it defaults back to the “The Modern Design of Minamaze…” featured areas. When I enter my own descriptions, they are just replaced by the default descriptions. When I exit and come back into the featured areas section in the customizer, I am greeted with this message:


    <b>Warning</b>: htmlspecialchars() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in <b>/home/…/formatting.php</b> on line <b>3438</b>

    Not too sure what to do to fix this. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi evandowsett,

    Can you take a screenshot of the featured sections in the Customizer please. I’d like to see if there are any obvious issues on the backend of your site which might affect the Customizer from working correctly.

    As you can see in the featured area 1 text box on the left, it has replaced my descriptions with the html shown above, which then displays as the default Minamaze descriptions.
