    Hello guys,

I am just trying to see how is interested by this feature to see if I should develop it or not. Basically the idea would be to propose another “Add Media” page specifically to drop Full-Size Retina images. There, you would just drop your big full-size retina image (let’s say 2800×2000) and automatically the plugin would create the standard full-size (1400×1000) and of course the image sized for it (and the retina versions for each).

Would you be interested in this?

Still counting, and that’s great, I am really getting motivation here ??

What if we didn’t need to upload a bigger picture actually, and that the plugin could actually generate a 2x photo from the original one through some AI?

How can you generate a high quality 2x image from a smaller version? Where would the detail come from? Surely you always need to start at the largest size with the most detail and then reduce.

Have a look at this: https://letsenhance.io/. This is basically what I am thinking about.

Interesting… this would be a good option for people who don’t have the ability to upload an original ‘master’ image at a really large size, but I don’t see how the quality could ever really be as as good as the information is faked. No matter how good that faking is, it’s still extrapolating image data that doesn’t actually exist, no?

I’d like to have this as an option, for clients who don’t have their original images at a larger size, but I’d still rather be able to upload a single high quality large size image in the first instance.

I am planning on using Pro on my next website and yes, this would be an invaluable feature.
