Feature to set Date with document while uploading

    Hi,

    I am curious to know if “Media Library Assistant” plugin has a feature to set a date for the document while uploading it from the media library. I am using this plugin with my site to set different categories from different taxonomies but my new requirement is to set a date for the document. I am not sure if I can do that or not. If it’s not please suggest me some other plugin by which I can do these. Thank you!

    Thanks for your question, which has two possible interpretations.

    First, you might want to create a custom field for your Document Date. MLA has many features for creating and using custom fields, including features to populate the custom field from IPTC/EXIF/XMP metadata contained in image and PDF files.     Second, you might want to alter the WordPress Date or Last Modified values. MLA does not have a way to do this; I have always considered it unwise. Here are earlier topics with more information:
