Hi, great plugin! I actually bought a Pro license and am considering upgrading to the lifetime, it handily solves some challenges with client sites. There are a few things that I would love to see added in some form, curious if there are plans for anything like these in future?

    1. Smaller dashboard icons. No matter how many columns are specified in settings, the WP responsive CSS rules generally only show two on a common PC laptop resolution. If it’s just an icon in the box, I’d like more like six across, just nice big buttons but not half the screen. I know I can use HTML, which I’ll do for now, but it would be nice to have more layout options here.

    2. Allow the HTML widget type to hook into common page builders. Elementor, Beaver Builder, etc. This would solve the first item too!

    3. On the Admin Menu editing screen, it’s great that we can hide and drag and drop items, but it would be nice to be able to add custom items too, add new dividers, and maybe even change the depth of items, i.e. move some of the default Woocommerce clutter into a Woocommerce Settings parent item.

    Thanks!
    David

    Hi,

We respect WordPress’ breakpoints on the dashboard. Meaning, if you set the dashboard columns to 3 in the settings, on smaller screens it might still show 2 columns while on larger screens it will show 3 instead of the default 4.

We’d have to see if we can allow for more than 4 columns and respect the breakpoints at the same time. If we can get more requests like this, we’ll consider adding this to the roadmap.

    2. Allow the HTML widget type to hook into common page builders. Elementor, Beaver Builder, etc. This would solve the first item too!

That’s a great idea. We do have the “Page Builder Dashboard” feature that allows you to add a saved Beaver Builder or Elementor template to the dashboard for each user role individually. I can imagine that we create a Beaver Builder and Elementor Widget for people that don’t want to use the Page Builder Dashboard feature but still want to use BB or Elementor in a widget.

On the other hand, there’s limited space in a dashboard widget which might be an overkill to use a page builder here. If, it should be used with caution.

    3. On the Admin Menu editing screen, it’s great that we can hide and drag and drop items, but it would be nice to be able to add custom items too, add new dividers, and maybe even change the depth of items, i.e. move some of the default Woocommerce clutter into a Woocommerce Settings parent item.

With the 3.0 release, we wanted to set the baseline for this feature. There’s a lot more to come. We’re currently working on an option to allow users to create admin menus for specific users (not only user roles). After that, we’ve planned to add a feature that will allow users to add custom links ??

    Best,
    David
