    Dear Vik Booking Team,

    I’m writing to you today as a satisfied user of the Vik Booking plugin for WordPress. I manage an apart hotel and have been impressed with the overall functionality it provides for managing hotel bookings.

    I’m particularly interested in the online check-in feature, as it streamlines the arrival process for my guests. However, I believe there’s an opportunity to further enhance the user experience by allowing guests to review and confirm important details during online check-in.

    Here’s my suggestion:

    Review and Confirm Arrival Details:
    Allow guests to review and confirm their estimated arrival time. This can help with planning staffing and housekeeping schedules.
    Enable guests to confirm their room preferences (if applicable) based on what was originally booked, or offer the option to choose an alternative if available.
    Provide a section for guests to review and confirm any additional requests they might have made during booking (e.g., early check-in, crib in room, extra towels).
    I believe these additions would significantly improve the online check-in experience for Vik Booking users. Guests would appreciate the ability to manage their arrival details conveniently, while hotels would benefit from increased efficiency and a smoother check-in process.

    Thank you for considering my suggestion. I’m a big fan of Vik Booking and look forward to seeing the plugin continue to evolve and offer even better features for hoteliers.

    Thanks for your useful feedback. We are going to share it with our developers so that we can take into account your suggestions for the next official plugin updates.

    What we can add is that the pre-checkin data collection system is based on drivers, and by default we provide a few systems to collect data from guests in a way that is compliant with your local authorities and requirements.

    However, the enhancements you have described go beyond the guests data collection, and for the moment it is possible to enable the “Room Upgrade” feature as well as the booking modification option to allow guests to choose a different room for their booking. Reviewing or confirming any eventual additional service is still allowed through the booking modification feature, but we believe there is space for improvements to the rest of features you requested.
