Feature suggestion: email notifications

  • I would really appreciate it if I could receive email notifications when users log into my websites. I already use Stream to log activities. It would be wonderful if I could receive an email notification when they log in.

    I was looking for something that would both track and notify of changes.

    Perhaps using the Stream plugin with a combination of others might be useful. There’s a ‘Stream to Slack’ plugin which might be handy if you use Slack.

    New version has an alerts system that can alert by email.

    The only think I don’t like is that you are only able to assign alerts to single users, or to all of them, and it’s not possible to assign it to a role. Being able to asign an alert to all administrators, or all subscribers, for example, would be VERY useful.
