• I would be so helpful if by using your plugin I could add attributes to my products but as checkboxes. I could add all of my pizza toppings as attributes, set a markup for them and then add them to my pizzas as checkboxes so that the users could add them, create their own pizzas and instantly check the current price for the pizza.

I appreciate the suggestion, but that’s actually a lot tougher than it sounds. It would no longer be based on variable products, which is at the core of how Markup by Attribute works.

WooCommerce offers Product Add-ons for $49 a year, which can be made to do what you are suggesting.

Thanks for your interest, though. It surprises me how well this plug-in took off.

Yours is a good plugin, a one that I was searching for quite some time. This is why announcing checkboxes would give it quite a big advantage, because based on attributes in Woocommerce you can build so much more:
    – shop filters
    – shop inventory
    – good search engine
    – etc.

So your plugin is a component in a bigger structure but Product Add-ons (I’ve tested and delete it) it is just some fields added to the product. This is why I think it is a good idea, even if it goes away from the core logic ??

    Thank you for the encouragement.

I’ve been considering a plugin that handles pricing in the store rather than in the product variations. It would be a separate plugin and might (or might not) supersede this one. If I elect to go down that path, I’ll certainly respond back to this thread.

I am missing the possibility to define the price of Custom product attribute.

It is not an option for me to define the attribute in the main Products-Attribute section, as this section defines attributes for all products. I have for example a sim racing steering wheel system with 20Nm and 30Nm (attribute), but I have 2 different manufacturers, which means different price for 20Nm and 30Nm. I have additional Custom product attributes, which I would like to be automatically calculated for Variations.

Is there any possibility this could be implemented for the future release? I dont want to change big amount of Variations if I want to change the price of particular Custom product attributes.

    Thanks Mark

    Best regards

    Miro
