First of all, I LOVE what you’ve done with the plugin since I looked at it last. There are so many more features that when I first tried it out months ago.

Second, I have a few feature requests:
    1) A way to save the conversation would be GREAT. The chatroom for my site will be used for meetings, and we like to base our minutes off the transcripts.

    2) Could conversations in the chat be cleared out once the user count changes to 0?

    3) Great that we can type multi-line. I’m thinking though, in terms of usability, it’s pretty standard to hit Shift+Enter to go to the next line (think fb messaging, for example). Would it be possible to use the Enter button to send messages, and Shift+Enter to go to the next line, instead of the reverse which is currently happening?

Third, do you have a price in mind for the pro plugin when it comes out?

    Thanks!

Oh and there was one more feature request. The names in the message area can be set to clickable; can you allow names in the name list to be clickable as well? It will help with consistency, and that way if someone doesn’t end up sending any messages users can still access their profile

    Hi,

thank you for appreciation! Here are my answers:

    1) If you go to Channels tab in Settings you will Backup link next to each channel. The whole transcript can be downloaded as CSV file.

    2) I will think about it. In the meantime you can set “Auto-remove Messages” option.

    3) Yes, I will implement that option. It is on my priority list.

    4) Clickable usernames on users list – yes, it is also on my features list.

    Thank you for your feedback!

As for the price it is currently not determined but I thought about something around $80

    Have a nice day!

Ok, thanks for the quick response! Was hoping for a save link right from the chatroom in the front-end, but if I can find the chat logs in the DB I can set that up myself ??

OK, that is a nice idea for future versions. Thanks:)
