    I haven’t been using TA Pro for too terribly long now, but already I’ve found some things that definitely need some attention. I haven’t necessarily seen where I should be submitting feature requests and bugs, so, well, here’s a list. ??

    Feature requests:

    • Amazon Import: Search by short/full URL in addition to keyword/ASIN
    • Amazon Import: Choose between fetched full URL and amzn.to short URL for the destination URL
    • Amazon Import: Bulk Amazon import (URLs or ASINs)
    • Amazon Import: Specify link category
    • Post edit screen: Select link from search results with keyboard. Arrow keys/enter cannot choose search results in a dropdown that looks like it should allow this.
    • Post edit screen: When using Shortcode link insertion method, show link with a special link formatting, clickable to an edit screen (like Easy Affiliate Links does), as opposed to the raw unformatted shortcode text
    • Post edit screen: Ability to insert image from an affiliate link only, no hyperlinking (avoids having to manually dig through the Media Gallery through possibly hundreds or more images to find an associated image for a linked product)

    Bugs:

    • Post edit screen/rendered link output: Inserting images into posts exclude links from being decloaked even when categorized into a decloaked category. They instead show the redirect link. This is a problem for Amazon and other affiliate programs that do not allow link cloaking.
    • Post edit screen: Fix weird spacing around inserted images
    • Post edit screen: Text before/after inserted images can often not be edited as expected, such as attempting to hit Enter after an image and have the text move down a line
    • Post edit screen: Shortcode links on their own lines don’t always get formatted as their own <p> when the line begins with the shortcode

    Re the first bug there, that is by design. The link will show as cloaked on the post edit screen and uncloaked on the front end. For amazon they can’t see your post edit screen, so as long as it’s uncloaked on the front end you’re all good and was the primary reason we built this feature in 3.0.

    Would be great if you could show me a screenshot of the weird spacing thing around images. The editing issue there might be due to WP and their new formatting control surrounding links, especially if there are any extra spaces being inserted. When you move the text cursor onto the link, it starts editing the link itself (highlights it blue from memory), then you have to high right arrow to get out of that to start editing the normal text again.

    Re the first bug, I understand that it does the decloaking on the front end, which works for text links. It’s only the Insert Image function that doesn’t decloak the link.     I’ll try to get some screenshots or screen recordings of the post edit screen and spacing issues with the inserted images soon, hopefully it will come across accurately.
