Feature Requests

  • First of all, thank you for the plugin. A great time saver!

    I have a few suggestions for your kind consideration.

    1. Hit return to go to the very first result.

    2. Add Ctrl/Cmd + numbers next to the search results and make it easy to navigate to them by pressing that key combo.

    3. Being able to open the selected result in a new tab by holding down Alt.

    4. Make the plugin work when on the front end (logged in) as well.

    Hi Sridar,

    All valid requests!

    1. We will consider this! We develop on Github so it’s more likely that we will see updates over there.

    2. This would be unlikely as it would override default browser behavior of switching tabs.

    3. I would consider this a bug, as a workaround for now you can middle click or right click and select a result to open in a new tab.

    4. This is on the roadmap but will require some extensive refactoring!

    There is an issue with CMD/CTRL+Click: The link opens in new tab AND the current tab.
