• Good day Peter and co,

First of all thank you very much for this great plugin!

I would like to be able to add a WYSIWYG field type as well. With an editor like in a WP post for instance. Or simpler if you’d like that better, as long as you can also add an image into it. It would be much helpful to create for instance a ticket system. Thank you for considering.

    With kind regards,
    Joko

    Hi Joko,

Adding WYSIWYG support is on my (very long) to do list… ??

    >>> Or simpler if you’d like that better, as long as you can also add an image into it.

You can use images from your media library. Would that be an alternative for you? Here is a link to the documentation:
    https://wpdataaccess.com/docs/documentation/data-explorer/wordpress-media-library-integration/

You can also add custom images. Just select hyperlink instead of image.

    Does this help?

    Best regards,
    Peter

    Hi Peter,

Thank you for your quick reply. I know about the image type field and that sure helps. I hope that the WYSIWYG editor will arrive soon :).
By the way; also a field type where you can put in 2 fields would be nice. For instance:
    1. Display name of a hyperlink, the other contains the link.
    2. Name/tag of an image, the other contains the image.
    3. Etc.

    Best regards,
    Joko

    Hi Joko,

    Good! ??

    >>> By the way; also a field type where you can put in 2 fields would be nice.

You can do that! You just have to change the way the plugin handles hyperlinks for your table. If your hyperlink column is processed as plain text, you can only enter a url. If you change this settings to JSON, you can add a title to your link as well.

    This documentented here:
    https://wpdataaccess.com/docs/documentation/data-explorer/table-settings/#hyperlink-columns

Be careful! If you change this settings plain URLs are no longer shown. It might be wise to make a copy of your table for testing first…

Is this what you are looking for?

    Best regards,
    Peter
