Feature request: Sync passwords and avatars

  • First of all, thank you very much for the wonderful plugin.

    I’d like to suggest a couple of features for the coming versions:

    1. Syncing of passwords. Currently the passwords are not synced when a new user is automatically created by the plugin. I’m not aware of the security implications of this. It will be a great addition though.

    2. Syncing of avatars/user pictures, just like the above.

    1) seems complicated but 2) is on the TODO list. Things are not going as fast as we hoped for because there is a lot to do aside but I will let you know as soon as something new is released.

    I second the syncing of passwords! A client is concerned about having to remember too many passwords, so this would help.
    I tried to sync users across two installations on two different subdomains of the same domain, and it did not work.

    Hi Josh,

    Thanks for using the plugin.

    In order to sync the user you need to login with the newly created account. I recommend to always use the same login point.

    Once the new user is loggedin the email will be added to the other websites.

    If you use only one login point all password will be centralized in the same site and the users will not need multiple passwords anymore.
