Feature request: support for custom meta fields on custom post types

    Are you talking about the built in custom fields or the fields added by plugins such as Advanced Custom Fields or CMB2 or similar?

    I’m planning to add support for ACF and CMB2 (and possibly other plugins too). No roadmap for this however.

    I got alot of data with custom fields that needs revision history and restore option.

    I second the ACF feature.It’s, from my point of view, an absolutely indispensable plugin. I bought the pro version years ago and use it in almost every single wordpress project.

    I give this nice plugin a test drive. Could be that it goes into my arsenal as well ??
