• We exclusively use the calendar to plan content for the upcoming days, and always in the single week view (we have a lot of content each day and it doesn’t fit in 2-week view). Because the calendar always starts on Sunday (in our case), this makes planning content during the weekend difficult – you have to toggle to next week and back again. Having an option to always start the 7-day view on ‘today’ would be a great time saver for us.

Thank you for using the Editorial Calendar and a big thank you for the feature request. The calendar does support starting on different days of the week and you can change which is the first day of the week in your WordPress general settings. We don’t have an option to always make the first day of the week today. I need to think about how to make that clear and not confusing as the calendar would change every day.

I did a quick hack for my own use and I rather like it so far. Perhaps you could change the view options to:

    Show on screen:
    – One week
    – Two weeks
    – 7 Days

That sounds very cool. Can you please tell me more about what you changed and how it works.
