Feature request: Sort categories by slug

    Hi,

    Right now it’s only possible to sort categories by name or by ID. I would like to be able to sort categories by slug as well (because that’s invisible to visitors), so I can have the category names showing up pretty and neat AND in the correct order on the website. Could this please be implemented in a future update?

    This has been added in version 6.1.2, which will be able in next hour or two. Please try it out and let me know if it works well for you.

    Wow, that’s a fast implementation! It seems to work really well, I just need to tweak my slugs a bit more. Thank you very much.

    Does a tutorial exist for this ‘categories by slug’ method?

    I think I figured it out.

    Name: Page Name
    Slug: 010-page-name

    Is this a correct method?

    Yes, if you want the category called Page Name to appear 10th when displaying all of your link categories, you could start its slug with 010. That way it would be displayed after other categories with slugs 000, 001, 002, etc…
