Feature request: Short description per downloadable file

  • Hi there,

    I like the concept to manage several downloadable files per download entry. That way you can maintain several versions of one product in one dowload record in an orderly fashion.

    What does not go along with that concept in the current release is that the Short Description is global for the product. It would be very convenient if each downloadable file had its own short description. If you manage several versions of a product, the short description of each download can be used to describe the differences in each version.

    Maybe this is a good new feature in one of the next releases?

    In addition to that, it would be great to have the possibility to name each downloadable file with it’s own title.

    That could be a nice feature for a scenario where the user like to add multiple different documents to one download record. An example for such a scenario could be a manual in different languages in one download record.
