feature request: select post format for imported tweets

Thanks for suggestion! You will notice that there is no post format that suits it well. Only ‘aside’ or ‘quote’ post format that you can assign to it but they are also not relevant. You can style the tweet post by using category. I will add this feature in next version, If you think this is still needed.

Thanks for the quick response ?? One of the built in post formats like Aside is ok if they’re not being used for something else… so i still think it’d be a good feature.

But perhaps a better feature would be the ability to import to a custom post type instead of the standard ‘posts’?

I realise I can style the tweets anywhere they’re imported, but there’s probably some scenario where you’d want them in custom post types or with assigned to post-formats.

I was also thinking about custom post type. I will add both options in next version. Thanks!

+1 for choosing a post format. Status seems to fit well:

Thanks for suggestion! Plugin’s latest version (2.0) has option to import tweets as custom post type “tweet”. Please style on base of post type or category.
