• A suggestion:

I have just used this plugin to add the content of several posts (descriptions only) to a page using several shortcodes like:

    [post-content id=217]
    [post-content id=221]
    [post-content id=443]

All of the shortcode id’s share the same category and so it would be really useful to be able to replace the id=xx with something like category=xx as an alternative. Maybe also an option tag=xxx.

In the meantime, the solution above achieves exactly want I wanted to do – thanks.

@tonym2 – It sounds to me like you’re asking for the functionality that’s already built into the [post-list] shortcode in the plugin.

    Hi Curtis

    Many thanks for your response.

Not quite – unless I am not understanding things correctly, [post-list] does not allow html coding in the content area.

In my application, I have several posts, each representing “race results” for a given date, displayed in an html table. Each post is allocated to a category “race series”.

I have then created a page for the race series and added a post-content for each post.

The result is a page consisting of a list of race results for that race series with no links to the original posts and nothing displayed for the post apart from its content field.

    The page displays something like:

PAGE – 2012 Summer Series (with some descriptive text)
    [summary results table]
    [results race 3]
    [results race 2]
    [results race 1]

I hope I have explained this ok

    Regards
    Tony
