Feature Request: placeholder attribute on email input field

Hi – could I please request the ability to add “placeholder” text to the email address input field?

I’ve overridden .php files on one site in order to temporarily but I think this is basic functionality that adds to the usability of the plugin. Without placeholder text you need to include “enter email address below” in the label text, which is fine but a little clunky.
