    Hi,

I saw the trello board but there was no info on how to submit a request so I’ll do it here and hope you see it ??

I’d like the ability to be able to see and modify the new database table prefix when selecting to change it. In a perfect world perhaps you could use WordPress password generation with some tweaked settings (like 5 characters etc.).

    Here’s the reason why:
A lot of developers worth the name works in local dev enviroments and is keeping them in sync with staging and production sites. Many of us use tools like WP Migrate DB Pro to keep the DB in sync. This poses a problem tho when we want to change the DB prefix. Because there’s no easy way to change the prefix to the same random string for the different enviroments. So basically if you’ve not had the foresight to change it straight away in dev before even setting up the other enviroments you’re screwed (or at least can’t use this excellent feature).

So to be able to see a suggested prefix when ticking the box “Change table prefix” in an input which we can modify would go a loooooong way!

    Thanks!
