Feature request: make board a recognized “page”

I would really like to make the Kanban board the static front page of a particular site (in a multisite network). However, it’s not available in the list of existing pages for me to choose, in either the Customizer or the old-school “Reading” settings.

It’s also not available in the list of existing pages for adding to a menu. I had to do it as a custom link. (At least here I had a way to make it happen; is there a way to set the kanban board as the front page? I haven’t found one.)

I’m guessing that the Kanban board hasn’t been registered as a page type that WP recognizes, or something? ˉ\_(ツ)_/ˉ

It would be really nice if the Kanban board were recognized for these purposes.

Kanban is a standalone app inside WordPress, so doesn’t interact with pages. The best way to accomplish this is to use our shortcode plugin:

In the next version, there will be a “take over the website” option, but that won’t be out till later this year.
