When you load the script from mc.yandex.ru, the Adblockers catch it, and ~30% of my traffic isn’t counted.

Is it possible to load the js script from my own domain?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @john5171,

Is it possible to load the js script from my own domain?

Technically, yes you can. But, it is not a good idea.

You can use alternative CDN which offered by Yandex, enter the tracker URL (Tracker JS field on the options page) then save it.

Thanks for your reply. And how exactly to set this up? what is the alternative CDN? Aren’t there several files besides just watch.js?

https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/yandex-metrica-watch/tag.js might be the alternative CDN.
(you can find it at the metrica service page for sure)

And how exactly to set this up?

WP Admin -> Yandex Metrica -> Tracker JS -> enter url https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/yandex-metrica-watch/tag.js -> save

    That’s all!

    Alright.

So the watch.js file is not required?

And, it is still caught by the Adblock. Can I just put it on my local domain?

watch.js used for old tracker code and tag.js for new tracker code.

If you are using old code, you can keep using https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/yandex-metrica-watch/watch.js
