feature request: list of available shortcodes in editor

  • Hey anmari,
    I love this plugin. I was thinking of writing something like this a few years ago, but never did. I wondered if you had considered expanding it a bit to include a meta box on the post editor page to make it easier for users to know which shortcodes are available to put in their posts (so, all the registered shortcodes plus built-ins). I thought of writing that one too, but haven’t! I thought it might be in the feature plugin Shortcake, but when I suggested it, they didn’t like doing anything different from what they already had in mind.

    Hi Joy,
    Nice idea but I reckon people could just as easily have one window up with the list, and another with the edit page/post – rather than cluttering up the edit area.
