feature request: “like” button

My users are loving this plugin so far; thank you!
I have a feature request: would you consider adding a “like” button? Maybe a thumbs-up or a smiley image, with a little text next to it showing the number of “likes” received? It’s simpler than the multiple-star rating system, and similar to rating systems in various social media sites (Facebook “likes,” google “+1,” reddit upvotes, etc).
Obviously this is not an urgent request — just a thought.
