AS you know, sometimes you run into situations where you need some IE-only CSS, especially when you’re trying to change up a theme through CSS-only (as would be the case when using this plugin).

I’ve run into one of those situations where the theme is not child-theme friendly, so my only choice is to use this plugin. However, I need to apply some IE-only CSS, as it’s not responding correctly (as usual) to the CSS that works fine for other browsers.

I thought it would be nice if this plugin could add that feature. I also would like to see some kind of “override mode”. I’m seeing an issue with some themes, where it loads it’s CSS just fine for me while logged-in, but logged-out other CSS From the theme overrides it. We’ve had to add !important to everything to get it to work when not logged-in. I don’t know if it’s possible to make sure it loads last, but if it is, it would be nice to have some sort of option to do that for the occasional misbehaving theme.

    Hi Tevya,

Thanks for the idea. I’ll definitely consider it for a future release. Can you send me a link to your site so I can check out the logged-out issues?

Well, it’s https://rockyfootandankle.com/ but we’ve added “!important;” to every style and that makes it work. We’d rather not have that (obviously) but it was the only way to make it work for now.

If you’d like to contact me privately, I’d be happy to turn off the “!important” on a few so you can see, and/or give you access to the site.

    Hi Tevya,

Look me up on Twitter. I’m @johnregan3. Follow me, then I’ll follow you and we can DM. Can you send me a link to the page that uses .recentcomments?

We’ll get to the bottom of this.

    Thanks!

    K. I did that. It’s gotta be something these themes are doing that’s unique.
