Feature Request: Have image link open in a new window

It would be a great asset to set the code so when one clicks on the imported image it opens in a new window ( target=”_blank” ) like you do with the embedded link.

Secondly, it would be a major upgrade if there was an option in the settings to not mark the imported image as a featured image. This would avoid the added drag on load and cluttered view of double images on the post and category pages.
