feature request for wp 2.0

You now must suffer a very painful death for mentioning a future version of WP. ??

laugh! wp is a great software. but there are still a few things that could be better. ??

among these, the search engine. i mean, when i search for ‘machine learning’ on my blog, i would expect that posts in said category come up. but if they do not mention ‘machine learning’ in the message body, they don’t.

actually, i’ve a couple of other requests, all search-engine related. among these, it would be nice to merge existing data types into resources. the idea would be to have graph of resources, as opposed to a tree of categories with post leaves. that way, you could index the data yourself when relevant, and let a category have several parents (e.g. is ‘machine learning’ border-line ‘cognitive science’ of border-line IT? is ’emerging behavior’ ‘cyber-ethology’, ‘social psychology’, ‘artificial intelligence’?) among other things.

i’ll write a post on this on my blog sooner or later.
