• Hi,

I have a feature request! I’d like to run a backfill on old posts to set the first post image as the featured image, but with a filter on image size so that only images *above* a certain size are considered. Currently this can be done below a certain size, but I’d like to do the opposite.

(Background: I have a lot of old posts, which were imported from another blogging system, where the first image post is just an emoticon. So I’d like to set a featured image to these posts, but skip the emoticon images.)

Actually, I managed to fix this myself by temporarily swapping the small images out. But I still think this could be a useful feature for others! Either way, thanks for a great plugin.

Hello, that is a great idea indeed. I had the same situation with a website showing small pictures with rating stars at the start of the texts.

I will implement this little option soon.

    .

Any news on this? It would be great to be able to set a minimum image size so the tool skips spacer images, share buttons, etc.
