Feature request: Exclude 'Paged' Pages

My sitemap seems to list a lot of ‘paged’ pages. For example:
example.com/author/username/page/2/
example.com/author/username/page/3/
example.com/author/username/page/4/
example.com/author/username/page/5/Is it possible to provide a setting to exclude ‘paged’ pages? I only want to include the first page in the sitemap. For example:
example.com/author/username/Perhaps something like
