Feature request: Exclude items or show specific post

First of: this is a great plug-in, would gladly pay for it. Unfortunately I have run into some limitation as I want to show specific post(s) or exclude certain tags from my recent posts.
Is there any way to do this with the current version or is it in the pipeline?
