Feature Request: Elevation Chart

  • Hi,

    I just tested your plugin and its really great. I would love to use it and replace one of my current plugins with this, more versatile one.
    However, I am missing an important feature
    When adding a track, i would also like to display an Elevation chart. For example the same way like in wp_pgx. When you hover with your mouse over the elevation line, it also moves the icon on the actual map to pinpoint its location.

    Additiona graphs for speed, temperature, heartbeat and so on would be an extra bonus, which I don’t use much.

    Thanks for the feature request, you are certainly not the first to ask for this!

    I have already begun work on implementing this and hope to be able to release a beta version which includes this in the not too distant future.

    When I do I can post a link here in case you want to test out the beta version.

    absolutely. Let me know and post a link here. i will give it a try for sure.

    Also one other question, would you be able to help open the images on the map in a lightbox. I know you have a workaround, but it seems i will have to load yet another script from external.
    My website already uses a lightbox feature and it would be great if i could use this one for your images as well. Maybe the photos can be just “tagged” differently, like in a normal post, so “my” lightbox will recognize them. I am not a developer, so I am not sure if it’s possible, but I think it should be.

    I have released a new development version of the plugin (v0.9.14-b1) which contains the Track Elevations feature. Please see here for more details (please post any feedback under that post).

    Maybe the photos can be just “tagged” differently, like in a normal post, so “my” lightbox will recognize them. I am not a developer, so I am not sure if it’s possible, but I think it should be.

    I will think more on this, it is a little tricky to integrate, but I agree this would be a nice to have feature.
