I have moved from TablePress to Ninja Tables because Ninja Tables has more features and flexibility than TablePress in terms of what I need for my application.

One thing that would be really neat and convenient for me is to be able to edit the table from the frontend so that I could make updates quickly and easily — and almost in a “real time” sort of approach.

If this could be session-specific so that only authorized users could make the changes, that would be a great way to implement it. Unauthorized users would simply see the table in an un-editable (standard) view.

Thank you for your support. The idea came to me from the TablePress plugin, but I am talking about an elevated level of what TablePress offers. When using a TablePress table and logged-in as an admin, there is a link that is visible that allows you to edit the table data. That said, it doesn’t modify the table in the frontend or in that window/view; when you click on the edit button it takes you to the admin dashboard and into the TablePress settings window. That means you leave the page where the table is embedded to make the edits, which is less than desirable. I would love to be able to make edits without leaving the page where the table is displayed.
