Feature Request – DSGVO / GDPR

    Hello Lester,
    first of all let me thank you for your great plugin. Very nice designed, good concept of how you enabled us to adapt it to our needs by using the templates!
    But now here in Europe there is a problem, because with the new DSGVO / GDPR (see https://www.eugdpr.org/) from 25. May 2018 we will have severe restriction concerning data-protection. So since than it is not allowed to store full IPs, they have to be anonymised. Piwik/Matamoto for example recommends a setting to store only 2 bytes (85.192.xxx.xxx).
    Do you see a chance to realize a similar feature in wp-postratings as well? Or can you give an advice for a workaround?
