Feature request: display links from a single domain

    Hi again, Yannick Lefebvre ???@jackdewey – I’m enjoying working with your plugin. ??

    Feature request, please: is there any way to display all links from a single domain? For example, all the links (across all cats/tags/dates) for bbc.com or cnn.com.

    Currently, I am thinking I might need to add [BBC] manually to the link title (or description) which is obviously time-consuming and error-prone (especially when this info is already in the database).

    I’ve no idea if this is even possible! Thanks. ??

    Sorry for the delayed response. I have added a new feature to filter by URL in version 7.6.2 which I’ll be releasing later today. You can either set the URL filter string in the Common tab of your library configuration or specify it using a parameter on the shortcode:

    [link-library urltextfilteroverride=”bbc.co.uk”]

    Apologies – I can see that my original post was not worded very well.

    I was wanting a front-end search for a domain, rather than doing this in the backend.

    So for example, a website visitor might want to list all the links from BBC.co.uk ( or indeed any number of domains) across all cats, dates and tags.

    Now I understand better. That being said, the search box that Link Library can display when using the [link-library-search] shortcode already searches through the URLs. So if you have one or more URLs that include BBC.co.uk and you search for that string, they should normally show up. I just tested this on my local development site and they did.
