• Hey there.

First off, I love this plugin. It’s fantastic! Every other alternative is some sort of bloated LMS and this is absolutely perfect for what we need.

I would like to request one feature: I’m using WPComplete for a site that has various video courses on it, and not all of them use the same language. Many of them are “Courses” with “Lessons”, so for a number of them, the complete button can say “Mark Lesson as Complete” or “Lesson Completed” and it works fine. But other courses are just a video series, where a label such as “Mark as Watched” is more appropriate.

Can you add a feature for unique button labels for each category?

    Thanks!

The sloppy workaround for me right now is having the non-completed label be “Mark”, with the next few words added :after via CSS. But that’s pretty sloppy, has some compatibility issues, and is pretty limited in terms of language of labels.

@scylderon Interesting request! Would giving you the ability to supply the desired texts from the shortcode work for you? So for example:

    [wpc_complete_button incomplete_text=”Mark as Watched” completed_text=”Watched!”]

    This is an interesting request!

Yeah! Some shortcode parameters would work great, Zack!

Ok, @scylderon. I’ll see what we can do. It won’t be included in our next update, coming next week. But probably the one after that. Thanks for the suggestion!

I second this request. I am thinking about using WPComplete to create checklists for my members. It would be great to have the ability to set the label of the complete buttons for various purposes.

    Thanks!

This would add an extra level of flexibility. I also think this would bena good feature to add.

Thanks for the feedback everyone! This is a great feature idea. We will get this included in a future version.

@chadthiele can I ask how you’ll be creating checklists? Another plugin with a shortcode? Or an external service? I have checklists in mine too, but I’m not completely in love with my current solution. Great idea by the way
