Feature Request: Credit field for media

As of 3.4 you can put links into the captions and use that.

Thanks. I did eventually run across that. But how to style it? Wondering if divs and classes will be allowed.

wp-caption-dd is the normal caption class. What were you thinking of?

Well…it’d be nice to have a separate field I could style in the template, instead of having to rely on a user to enter a credit div/span and class in every photo caption:

I can’t see Droplr from here, but it doesn’t make sense since you can style wp-caption-dd all you want. Are you trying to style segments of the text there?

Yeah, I’d like to have a distinct style for the credit, that’s different from the rest of the caption. That’s why having a separate, baked-in field and class for a credit would be awesome.
