Feature Request: Convert Uploaded Images to WEBP Format

    Now that WordPress 5.8 supports the WEBP format, it would be great if Imsanity provided the option to convert uploaded GIF, PNG, and JPEG images to WEBP format with a quality setting as you’ve done for JPEG images.

    Hi @linux4me2, thanks for asking about that.
    We already have that functionality in our EWWW Image Optimizer, so it isn’t something we will be doing in Imsanity.
