[Feature Request] Contextual editing links, better Group mgmt, WYSIWYG editor

  • Great plugin! I thought of a few things, which could improve its utility:

    1) Contextual Edit Links – while it is possible to locate a testimonial from the Testimonial section, having an edit link next to each testimonial link would be very helpful, especially for large sites.

    2) Group Management – on the testimonials listing page, there is no way to tell (at a glance, looking at all testimonials) which ones are assigned to a group or not. Perhaps add in Group as an option for a column?

    3) WYSIWYG editor for source – Though this is a small issue, it would be nice to be able to edit the source with a WYSIWYG editor. I believe it is possible to have multiple WYSIWYG editors on the same WP page (I’ve done this before)

    Hey ururk,

    Thanks for the feature requests. I like all 3 ideas and will plan on adding them in sometime soon.

    1) I assume you mean that when you are logged in as administrator, the testimonials displayed on the front-end will show an “Edit” link for each one?

    Sure thing.

    #1 & #3 have been added. They will be in the next update for sure.
    #2 will be added unless something major needs an update before I stick it in.

    #2 has been added. It lists each group assigned to the testimonial. I will probably push the update this weekend.

    Unfortunately this past weekend the server I do my testing on went down and that particular host fell off the face of the internet. This means my updates were lost. I will look at adding them back in and getting them up this weekend.
