[Feature request] Choose version on plugin install

  • Instead of having to install a new plugin version and then revert it, there should be a way to choose version to install on the plugin install screen.

    This is useful in scenarios where we’re recovering a problematic old WordPress install and need to install the original versions of the plugin, to be able to use the database dump, and only after having a working website with new plugin/themes files, start updating everything.

    That’s an interesting idea. Currently, you could install the plugin and just NOT activate it, then use Rollback to get the version you need and then Activate.

    We don’t currently hook into the actual install process at all at the moment, but that would be an interesting feature, just not sure how many actually want that.
