Feature request: better way of saving customer shipping data / pickup point data

Firstly, well done for this brilliant plugin and service!
I’ve already mentioned this to someone at pakkelabels.dk, but thought I would leave my feedback here as well for future reference.
I think it would be great if you made sure that the customer’s standard shipping details are retained and instead saved the pick-up point data in its own custom fields as order meta data. Smart Send already does it in this way. Please take a look at this screenshot from their plugin and notice how the pickup point data is stored under the billing details: LINK.
There are two main reasons for this:
- We would like to keep the customer’s shipping details for future reference. We have a lot of customers with different billing details from their shipping details and it’s good to have all the order data saved for future reference.
- As the shipping details are currently being overwritten, the customer’s shipping details are then lost and this means that we cannot include that information for the pickup point whom will need it to ensure they are giving the package to the right person.
Hope you’ll consider this as an improvement for the future!
