Feature Request: add shortened view option for home page

    Any chance you’d add the ability to just display the title, featured image, and 1st paragraph on the home page?

    Hello,
    You can do it by replacing a the_content() function with the_excerpt() function in the content.php file.

    Any chance you’ll add an option to do that? I don’t want to modify it and have it get overwritten by updates. And yes, I know how to do child themes, but I hate to do it for such minor changes, because then the entire file remains in whatever version the child theme was created from, in spite of updates.

    I will add this option in the next theme update but for now I would recommend to modify a content.php file.
