    Hi!

This feature has been implemented some weeks ago.
    Doesn’t work for you?

Well, it works fine, if “Nextend … Connect” creates a new user. But if I want to add my Google account to a WP user that already exists, the old avatar of the WP user remains.

Keeping the old avatar is actually good, when you’re linking accounts, as you don’t know, whether a user wants to overwrite the existing avatar, or not. But it’s not yet possible for the user to “take over” the Google avatar later (at least not in my case). Adding this feature would be great, especially as it gives the user the possibility to choose, if he has connected Facebook, Twitter and Google to the same WP account.

Yes, our plugin doesn’t force the user to change him/her avatar when that exists. Ours only works when the user avatar isn’t exists.

In the next version the avatar will be saved in every login. I hope it will be fine ??

Hi, I don’t think that’s a good idea. There might be users who don’t want to change their avatar or don’t want to use an avatar, at all. So here’s what I think would be the best solution:

    1. New user created with Nextend plugin: Use the current avatar from the social network. (Don’t automatically update the avatar when the profile picture of the social network is changed.)

2.1. Existing user linked: Don’t change the avatar.
2.2. After linking process is complete: Add a button beside the “unlink”-button that says something like “Use the current Google profile picture as avatar”
2.3. When this button is clicked: Add the G+ profile picture as avatar, but only once.
2.4. When the G+ profile picture changes, do nothing (do not update the avatar with the new profile picture), unless the user clicks on that button, again.

What do you think about this?
