Feature request: Ability to use SKU as barcode

    Wouldn’t that be great! ??

    I’ve just had to bulk edit all my 2500 products, via the database, to get the SKU into the barcode field. It would be so much easier if it was possible to let the plugin use the SKU when it syncs.

    I sell books and so the SKU will always be the same as the barcode, which is an ISBN13 number.

    Thank you for engaging us again, I think we might have some things that could help you. There is not really a ready solution for this, but I believe there are ways you can create a solution for this. This should be related to this documentation.

    Aha! Many thanks for this! -for some reason I didn’t look properly under the “How to use barcodes from other plugins?” section – I guess I just assumed it wouldn’t potentially also be a solution to this.

    I hope it’ll become a native function one day, but it’s great that there’s a workaround in the meantime! Thanks!
